The amazing success of our fabulous refurbishment project would not have been possible without the following sponsors:

Used to fund the new doors, flooring, kitchen, internal reordering work and decoration.

Magnox Socio Economic Fund, £9,900

Used to fund the coffee machine, outdoor furniture and essential kitchen.

Lottery Community Fund, £8,000

Used to fund the 3 new large windows, essential for ventilation to enable operation in a Covid environment.

Harwell Craft Group and History Group

Provided the photos, frames, curtains and pelmets.

Lounge bar now has new carpet, decoration and a wonderful wall of photos of old Harwell village.

The old RBL plaques have been displayed on the end wall in the new pool/snooker area of the sports bar.

Large picture windows give a fabulous view over the Recreation Ground.

The snooker/pool end of the sports bar is now complete, apart from the flooring in the seating area, and looking good.

The new partition wall has been constructed and the doors hung. Lots of finishing off and decoration still to do but you can start to see how the spaces will work.

 

Our Facilities are currently being upgraded with a major reordering and refurbishment project.

They will include the Main Lounge Bar/Café/Function Room which offers a comfortable venue with a large dance area and big screen sports with BT Sport programs. This area will integrate with a new Club garden and will have large windows overlooking the recreation ground. There is now also a large sports bar area with a TV, full size snooker table, pool table and 2 darts boards. There will be a fully equipped commercial kitchen.
Why not call in and check out this important village facility. New members are vitally important to our continuing development and your views and ideas about what you would like to see happening at the Club would be very welcome.
